Welcome!
Jobs 4 SAE's is an "unofficial" national website, designed to help Sigma Alpha Epsilon Brothers who are currently unemployed find Companies that are friendly to hiring members of SAE Fraternity. This site also includes information about the Greater Kansas City Alumni Association, Active Chapters in the six-state area of Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas and Oklahoma, and the events that define the Brotherhood of SAE. Finally, since each Active and Alumni member of SAE is a "True Gentleman," there are links to information about the Greensburg, Kansas "Scouts Helping Scouts" Relief Effort, and the Little Sioux Scout Ranch Relief Effort through the United Methodist Church. Enjoy your visit! Important Note: This web site is NOT sanctioned or endorsed by Sigma Alpha Epsilon National Fraternity. To visit the National SAE web site, please click here.
Scouts Helping Scouts
Scouts Helping Scouts was organized in the wake of the Greensburg, Kansas tornado on May 7, 2007, with the mission statement: “Scouts Helping Scouts is a Philanthropic Independent Organization that will come to the aid of ANY Scouting Program in the Boy Scouts of America or the Girl Scouts USA Program that has been affected by natural disasters of any magnitude. By coming to the aid of a Scouting Unit in need, we will raise the necessary funds and equipment, AND perform the necessary actions to keep the Scouting Values intact as the Unit rebuilds their storied program."
Little Sioux Scout Ranch Relief Effort
The Little Sioux Scout Ranch Relief Effort was launched through the United Methodist Church on June 13, 2008, with the cooperation of the National Association of United Methodist Scouters (NAUMS) and the General Conference of United Methodist Men (GCUMM). The Mission Statement of the Relief Effort is as follows: “Established June 13, 2008 to provide humanitarian service to the Little Sioux Scout Ranch in the Mid-America Council (Omaha, Nebraska) that was virtually destroyed by a tornado on the evening of June 11, 2008. We will raise money to assist the council in the rebuilding of the infrastructure of the Scout Reservation, which will help offset the additional costs incurred that is not covered by hazard insurance and/or other additional policies. By doing so, the Mid-America Council can rebuild it’s storied Scout Camp and provide the necessary program to their Scouts as soon as possible.”
Do A Good Turn
"Do A Good Turn" is designed to help those families adversely affected by the current economic conditions to help keep their youth in scouting, whether it be Boy or Girl Scouts. The mission statement is as follows: "Established on August 1, 2009, "Do A Good Turn" is designed to assist those families negatively affected by the current economic recession by keeping their Boys and Girls in Scouting, by donating clothing, equipment and books necessary so that they may continue to reap the benefits of these character-building programs. This is not designed to replace what the individual Councils are doing to assist these families, but merely to help ease the burden of the enormous amount of requests that are made on behalf of these families. By doing so, we believe that we are instilling the values that will help grow tomorrow's leaders today."
